Maryam Nassir Zadeh

I don’t know about you but I spend a lot of my time on online fashion website – the obvious ones such as Net-A-Porter, Matches Fashion, Farfetch et al, which are great but let’s face it a bit samey; but then there are those little gems, like Maryam Nassir Zadeh. This new York based fashion website (with a bricks and mortar store located on the lower east side) is different, it is a lot more image led than your standard fashion online shopping destination and product photography is in a street-style sort of way. The website houses some of my favourite brands, namely Golden Goose, Isabel Marant and Carven mixed with some labels I didn’t know before but like a lot, like Dieppa Restrepo, Ter et Bantine and MARYAM NASSIR ZADE shoes. For me the site works so well because of the way the products are shot, a lot more natural, in a way one would wear them rather than a front, back and side model shot with her head cut off.
